Xiongmao

Okay, there's a funny story behind this one. Thomas, Nathan and I were kicking each other's butts at Soul Calibur, which started getting boring after a while. So we did what we always do when that happens - we start fighting each other with characters from the Random Creation feature, which never fails to get interesting. After a few rounds fighting with strange purple old ladies in lingerie and creepy pink-haired ninjas, this sweet little lady popped up, exactly as you see her (with allowances for the fact that I find SCIII character creation parts unreasonably hard to draw). I immediately leapt up squealing "OMGPANDAKAWAIIIIIIII!" or something of the sort and commenced beating Thomas over the head with a cushion until he paused it. I made a quick sketch and a couple of reference notes before returning to the work of kicking Thomas and Nathan up and down Eurasia. When I got home, I recreated her on my memory card as best I could, because who wouldn't want a panda ninja character? And thus, Xiongmao was born.

And also - forgive me, but I've started writing a Soul Calibur fanfic with her as the star. I just couldn't help it. Rest assured, I've put her through the Mary-Sue Litmus Test and she scores very low.
