Vesperian Goblins

This started out as a generic overview of Vesperian goblins in general, but these two eventually evolved into characters in their own right.

Vesperian goblins are considered a subset of the elves or fae, along with the Trow, the other major elvish race that's commonly seen. What they lack in dexterity they make up for in toughness and strength; goblin hide and sinews can turn aside knives with ease, and their skin only gets tougher throughout life as scars and calluses build up. Some ancient goblins boast of sword blows shrugged off, although this may be exaggeration. Goblins tend to sink to the bottom of any civilization into which they are integrated, as that's where they feel most comfortable - their toughness, forward nature, and adaptability serve them well in navigating the sooty underbellies of Vesperia's cities.
